West Ryde Physio offers physiotherapy with a special interest in women’s health, helping women through pregnancy, postnatal issues and during menopause. We are a proud provider of Cancer rehabilitation and Lymphedema therapy before and after cancer treatment. We offer clinical exercise sessions including Pilates in a supportive, nurturing space. 

Our physios are qualified, accredited and experienced. We will take care of your immediate pain and injuries, and your long-term health.

Physio Run Classes

At West Ryde Physiotherapy, we run small and tailored exercise sessions, inspired by a range of approaches including clinical Pilates.

All our exercise and rehab groups are run by our trained and accredited physiotherapists.

We offer individual or small group sessions complying with Covid-19 restrictions. This means you receive a highly tailored exercise routine with individual and specialised attention.

Tailored Programs

During your initial assessment, your physiotherapist will go through your medical history, mobility and level of strength. This allows us to design a program suited to your needs, whether you’re recovering from an injury or improving your strength for better sports performance.

Pre/Post Natal

Pregnancy Class

Join our specialised pregnancy Group Physiotherapy & Exercise Class for a fun and safe workout. Prenatal exercise with a Physio is one of the best and safest forms of exercise for pregnant women.

During pregnancy, special care is needed as your body is adapting to a growing tummy. Prenatal class helps improving the strength and function of your pelvic floor and core muscles as your body changes.

All pregnancy classes are led by accredited and highly experienced female physiotherapists. New participants will be first assessed by our physiotherapists.

Mums & Bubs Post-natal Class

We run 6-week postnatal group physiotherapy programs for new mums. It is suitable for women who had a C-section or a vaginal delivery and have already had their 6-week medical check-up.

These classes are designed for busy mums who want to get back into shape while enjoying the company of other new mothers. 

Your baby will be at arm's reach during the session on a mat or in his pram close to you.

New mothers will benefit from specific exercises:

  • Strengthening your core muscles

  • Pelvic floor training and advice

  • Improving your back and neck strength to meet the high demands of motherhood

  • Relaxation techniques to help you recharge your energy

All post-natal Group Physiotherapy & Exercise Class are led by accredited and high experienced female physiotherapists. New participants will be first assessed by our physiotherapist.
