Class Terms and Conditions

Health & Safety terms and conditions for All Classes at West Ryde Physio

1.1. While every precaution will be taken to ensure exercises are safe, targeted, and appropriate to the level of the class, participants perform exercises at their own risk.

Exercise Class Term Times

2.1. Exercise classes are run over four (4) terms throughout the year.

2.2. Each term runs for ten (10) to eleven (11) weeks.

2.3. Clients must book a specific class for the whole term.

2.4. Change of class is not allowed except in extenuating circumstances or in line with our MUC Policy.

2.5. In week 8 of each term, existing class participants will be given preference to rebook their class for the next term. If bookings are not made within 7 days, places will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Exercise Class Bookings

3.1. All exercise class bookings must be made no later than two (2) hours prior to the class start time, or your booking is not guaranteed.

3.1.1. To book a class within two (2) hours of the start time, please call the clinic on 02 9809 3854 during clinic open hours.

3.1.2. For classes outside of clinic open hours, please book earlier to avoid disappointment.

Payments

4.1. Exercise Classes are to be booked and paid prior to the term start date.

4.2. Eligibility for the early bird pricing is as follows:

4.2.1. Pay in full by the last business day before the start of the term.

4.2.2. Terms start dates may differ from the date of the first class of the term.

Cancellations & Make Up Classes (MUC)

5.1.1. In the event you are unable to attend your booked class, you agree to cancel your class booking by phone or email at least 24 hours prior to the start of the class to allow others to take your place.

5.1.2. Failure to do so will result in your class being forfeited.

5.1.3. MUC are available within the same term and cannot be carried over to the next term.

5.1.4. MUC fair use policy applies. To ensure all participants have fair access to classes, we reserve the right to remove or amend MUC at any time without credit for cancelled classes.

Exercise Class Cancellations

6.1. If you wish to cancel a class that you are booked into, you must call the clinic at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled commencement time.

6.2. All exercise classes must be taken in the term they were originally scheduled for.

6.3. Exercise Classes cannot be carried over into the next term.

Refunds & Credits

7.1. All exercise class passes are non-refundable.

7.2. If events outside our control (e.g., COVID-19 Govt. Restrictions) prevent us from facilitating face-to-face studio classes, clients will be able to have access to online classes which would take place in lieu of the face to face class.

7.3. No refunds or credit will be provided for unused exercise classes, except as stated in 8.4.

7.4. If you are pregnant and unable to continue with your exercise classes, we will give you a credit for Pregnancy or Mums ‘n’ Bubs classes that you can use next term.

Private Health Insurance Rebates

8.1. Participants are responsible for checking with their individual private health insurance health fund regarding rebates and eligibility requirements. West Ryde Physio accepts no responsibility or liability where health fund rebate claims are rejected or unavailable.

Rehab Reformer Terms and Conditions

Assessment and subsequent one on one sessions

a. Prior to starting the group sessions, an assessment with our physiotherapist of 30 minutes. In this session, the physiotherapist will determine your areas of concern, assess your strength, and develop a plan according to your goals.

b. When participating in reformer rehab sessions, you will need to attend 2 one on one 30 minutes sessions for foundation skills.

Payment

a. Full payment for the pass of 10 or 11 weeks (depending on school terms) is required before the start of the sessions.

b. Payments are made in advance for the term by cash, debit, credit card or online internet banking.

c. If you are away for part of the term, we ask for a commitment of 8 sessions minimum. Please discuss with our team prior to booking.

d. Ad hoc single sessions are available at a different fee, availability permitting.

Cancellation

a. Catch up: you are entitled to 2 make-up classes per term.

b. You must advise us via email, or sms 24 hrs in advance of you cancelling your session to be eligible, depending on availability. Should there be no availabilities for reformer class, you may join Mat Physio Pilates in lieu.

c. Make-up classes cannot be carried over to the following term.

Receipts

a. Your redeemable receipt will be sent out for you to claim through your insurance at the completion of the term.
