Annie Beaudoin

Annie is a French-Canadian trained physiotherapist with 20 years’ experience in private practice and hospitals in Canada and Australia.

As a mother herself, Annie has a special interest in women's health before and after pregnancy and birth. She enjoys working with women at all stages of their life and helping to care for and strengthen their bodies. 

In 2010, Annie completed a Masters of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physiotherapy at University of Sydney. She also participated in a clinical trial for chronic whiplash and exercise led by the George Institute.

Throughout her practice, Annie has worked with clientèle of all ages, from acute post-operative care to elite sports rehabilitation. She gets inspired by improving people's wellbeing.

In 2017, after working as a clinical physiotherapist at West Ryde Physiotherapy for 3 years, Annie decided to invest in the business fully by buying it. She now manages the business while also seeing patients. She is inspired to continue one of the oldest physiotherapy practices in the area.

Heather York

Heather is an experienced physiotherapist with a wide range of experience in both private hospitals and clinics. She has treated many musculoskeletal issues including lower back pain, pre and postnatal rehabilitation, acute sporting injuries, acute headaches, dance and Pilates assessments, and women’s health.

Heather has a particular interest in caring for patients with lymphoedema and those who have experienced a cancer diagnosis. She conducts our breast cancer rehabilitation [LINK] assessments and treatments.

She is an accredited member of the Australian Lymphology Association and also works part time as a lymphedema therapist.

She is passionate about educating clients to help them understand how their problems developed and how to best prevent or manage them in the future. Heather understands the importance of regular exercise and strength training to manage chronic health conditions and provides tailored exercise plans for her clients.

She’s also a local mum to four teenagers, who along with her husband, provide her with lots of opportunities to use her physio skills at home! She enjoys spending time with her family, and running, cooking and reading.

Ozlem Davic

Ozlem has long had a keen interest in health and wellness, and she completed a Postgraduate Masters of Physiotherapy in 2014 from the University of Sydney.

She is passionate about the benefits of sport and fitness and has clinical experience in sports injuries rehabilitation. She is experienced in managing acute sport injuries (soccer, rugby and athletics), chronic-complex musculoskeletal injuries, orthopaedics, and daily office ergonomic issues.

Ozlem has a key interest in the human and environmental elements of physiotherapy problems, and advocates taking a preventative role in minimising daily office or work injuries. She is a current NSW branch committee member of the Human Factors and Ergonomic Society of Australia.

At West Ryde Physiotherapy, Ozlem aligns her belief in patient-centred goals and individualised care. She has completed many current evidence-based courses, including LJ Lee Connect Therapy, Integrated Dry Needling, the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy.

Ozlem is currently completing her clinical Pilates certification through APPI.

Cristina Tan-Gella

Cristina is a very proactive and integral part of our team. From first call to bookings and enrolments, she makes sure your health journey with us runs smoothly.

With her engineering background and working with various clients, Cristina prides herself in her detailed approach to providing her own brand of personalised premium admin and management assistance.

Having kids of her own, Cristina understands the challenges that expecting mothers and new mums face daily. She knows they deserve a bit of extra attention, and especially loves a cuddle with babies and toddlers.

Cristina ensures that both mum and bub are happy during treatments, and is a crucial part of the family friendly policy at West Ryde Physiotherapy.
